BUYER BEWARE, this company tells lies. Spoke to Colin Marshall on the phone, I was looking to buy a Ford tourneo custom registration CP170JF, Colin walked around the vehicle when I was on the phone and told me the vehicle was " impeccable, no marks inside or out". At this point I transferred 22,020 pound sterling, I live in Ireland and had to pay for flights and 86 pound in a taxi and also pay for the boat home, which I thought to be coming back with my "impeccable" vehicle. On arriving at TC Harrison I was met by a gentleman called David knight as Colin Marshall had gone on holiday, myself and David looked over the vehicle and it was apparent at first glance that every panel on the passengers side had multiple scratches, David himself said himself that he doesn't know why I was told it was impeccable when it was evidently false information. I asked for a reduction in price and when they said no I asked for a refund, Paul Parry the manager when I asked for his assistance was no where to be seen, I lost 840 on the currency exchange and 410 on the boat, flight and taxi fair, so in total Colin's false information costed me 1250 euros, 12 days later on the 12th of October Paul Parry the manager told me that if I sent proof for the cost of my return ferry he would refund it, this was 270. A few days later I received an email saying that they would refund me 100 which I still have never received. I STRONGLY advice that you purchase your vehicles else where, because anywhere else would be better then here, please TC Harrison do not reply to this saying that you will speak to management as I spoke to Paul Parry the area manager and he lied to me by saying that he would refund me 271 for the boat but never did refund anythingTake your business else where, for this company you cannot take at there word.
I was made very welcome, and offered a cup of coffee while I waited for my car, very pleased with my visit today.
Excellent customer service from the outset. My initial enquiry about purchasing my car was on a Sunday outside of opening hours but received a very prompt email reply from Kevin. All emails were replied to very quickly, within opening hours or not. Kevin was welcoming and friendly when I visited to view the car and at collection he took the time to talk me through the various paperwork which needed completing. I am very happy with my purchase and wouldn't hesitate in contacting Kevin at T C Harrison Spalding for all my future car purchases and will be recommending him to family and friends.
